Internships are integrated into your course work to help you gain hands-on experience and become an effective public health leader.
Tonya Johnson, our full-time internship coordinator, will help you identify a position and complete all the necessary steps.
We have existing partnerships all over Oregon, the United States and the world, and if you find an internship site we aren’t already partnered with, Tonya can work with the site to establish a new partnership and ensure it meets the MPH competency requirements. Common internship settings include government, hospitals and clinics, non-governmental organizations, and corporations.
