Health care is changing. Be on the front lines.
Dear [First Name],
You want to effect real change in people’s lives, and you know that often begins upstream. To the source, in fact, where the policies, rules and laws are created to make a difference in the health and well-being of all.
To do that, you need well-rounded training in health systems and policy. In the Oregon State program, you’ll hone the critical thinking and analytical skills required in a data-driven health care system.
You’ll learn analytic tools for understanding the complex effects policy has on health, health care markets and the community, as well as tools for effectively implementing policy changes.
When you complete the program, you may decide to assume a leadership position in a health care or insurance organization, a not-for-profit, a policy organization or in government or academia.
When you choose to attend Oregon State for your MPH in health systems and policy, you’re not just choosing a degree. You’ll join a diverse community that shares the desire to reduce risk, prevent disease and injury, and promote human health.
“My goal is to inform policy decisions based on evidence. I’m passionate about health care access and equity and see health care as a human right. I want to help all people live healthier, longer.” Aurora VanGarde Ph.D. ’18, Health Policy
