Dear [First Name],
We’re excited to learn about your interest in the MPH at Oregon State University. With seven on-campus options and one fully online option, we’re confident we can help you find a path that aligns with the difference you want to make in the world.
Three key reasons to choose the Oregon State MPH:
-
Small cohort sizes make it possible to build connections with faculty and classmates. When you matriculate, you’ll be assigned a faculty advisor who is invested in your success.
You’ll work with your faculty advisor to choose electives, and any grad-level course at Oregon State could potentially be an elective. For example, global health students have taken medical anthropology courses, health systems and policy students have taken MBA courses, and epidemiology and environmental and occupational health students have taken toxicology courses. Whatever your interests are, we’re invested in helping you get the most out of our MPH program.
-
Electives built into the curriculum. Each on-campus MPH option has some flexibility with electives, and you’re encouraged to build an area of focus with these elective credits.
-
Full-time internship coordinator. Our 200-hour internship requirement is supported by a full- time MPH internship coordinator, who will provide you with direct support throughout the entire process.
And you have flexibility to choose your internship — we won’t just place you somewhere. We have existing partnerships across Oregon and the United States and globe, and if you find an internship we aren’t already partnered with, our internship coordinator can help set it up.
Choosing where to pursue your advanced degree is a big decision. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
