Do work that makes a difference, at home and around the globe
Dear [First Name],
Make a difference in the lives of people across the globe by working with communities in addressing their most pressing health challenges.
Globally, medically vulnerable populations experience age-related illness; mental health issues; tropical, chronic and non-infectious/infectious disease; and health-related consequences from climate change and war.
With your Oregon State MPH in Global Health, you can help eliminate health disparities using data-driven research and educational outreach in a variety of organizations, including research and academic institutions, immigrant and refugee health organizations, disaster relief organizations, or government agencies.
Studying global health will ignite your desire to address public health issues with a critical eye and allow you the freedom and creativity to open many different doors.
Sharpen your focus with the help of your faculty advisor. Course topics include maternal and child health, refugee issues, water and sanitation, human trafficking, food security and economic globalization.
"Global health professionals make small changes in the big world and big changes in small worlds. Our mission is without borders, and our program prepares you for your future as soon as you step foot in the classroom.”
